Thought Forms are releasing their new album 'Songs About Drowning' on Invada Records in November across LP, CD and digital formats. The first 100 customers to purchase the LP through the Invada web store will receive a limited edition 12"x12" lithograph art print, personally signed and numbered by the band.
"For this latest outing, the Wiltshire trio have expanded to a quartet, with producer and bassist Jim Barr joining the ranks.
The record is built upon improvisations and explores new instruments - it's a marked change from what's come before, but arguably their most direct and streamlined release to date. "Forget My Name" certainly teases a quietly vicious side to Thought Forms, with silvery layers of noise weaving between gorgeous vocal harmonies.
Songs About Drowning is released via Invada Records on 4 November."
We are thrilled to announce that, with Lakeshore Records, we will be co-releasing Roque Baños' score to the terrifying "Don't Breathe" on LP, the current number one movie in America. This is hailed as the best horror movie of the year, and one of the best horror pictures in over a decade.
Baños who previously worked with Alvarez on the remake of genre favourite EVIL DEAD has crafted a truly unforgettable score that not only ramps up the tension but also has you hitting the repeat button. A remarkable score that gets better with each listen and when listened through headphones, delivers a whole new listening experience.
There will be two variants of the LP available. An Invada mail order exclusive variant pressed on "Orange and Red Swirl" coloured vinyl, and a retail variant pressed on Orange coloured vinyl.
The score is currently available and listenable digitally here. The Invada mail order exclusive variant will be shipping in time for Halloween, and the retail variant will hit stores for the 25th of November.
Don’t Breathe is the tale of three Detroit thieves who get their kicks by breaking into the houses of wealthy people. The group gets word about a blind veteran who won a major cash settlement following the death of his only child. Figuring he’s an easy target, the trio invades the man’s secluded home in an abandoned neighborhood. Finding themselves trapped inside, the young intruders must fight for their lives after making a shocking discovery about their supposedly helpless victim.
