Invada Playlists #17: Thought Forms
Our next guests are Invada band Thought Forms.
Thought Forms are Invada's longest serving band, made up of Charlie Romijn, Deej Dhariwal, Jim Barr and Guy Metcalfe, and signed to the label in 2006.
Originally starting as a three-piece, the band recorded the self titled debut in 2007 with the follow-up Ghost Mountain in 2012.
The band travelled the world supporting the likes of Portishead, 65daysofstatic, Marmozets, Beak> and Bob Mould.
Thought Forms also made an appearance on the Ex Machina soundtrack.
Their third full length release ‘Songs About Drowning’ saw the addition of bass player and producer Jim Barr (Get The Blessing, Portishead), and saw the band kick it up yet another notch, pushing the boat out even further to create a strange, intoxicating album, their most accomplished to date and certainly their most fascinating.
